Mobile DJ/Crew Person

Responsibilities Include:

Assist in the set up, execution and tear down of various video and regular dances

• Provide professional DJ services for various events across Ontario (weddings, high school dances, corporate events, etc)

 

On Air Personality

Radio Waterloo 100.3FM (CKMS FM)

May 2008 – September 2008

Responsibilities Include:

• Prep, plan and excecute a weekly broadcast

• Interview artists

• Produce spots, promos, IDs, etc.

• Uphold broadcast standards

 

Board Operator (part time)

Wave 94.7 (CIWV FM)

March 2007 - June 2008                                                     

Responsibilities include:

• Operate occasional live broadcasts as well as live remotes

• Operation of Maestro log software and ensured programming and commercials aired successfully

• Responsible for upholding broadcast standards

 

Events Co-ordinator/Commercial Voice/Board Operator

Wave 94.7 (CIWV FM)

March 2007 - December 2007             

Responsibilities included:

Researched, booked and attended both booked and client events with the Events Cruiser (family fun days, client remotes, etc.)

• Performed as master of ceremonies for the Burlington Sound of Music Festival, the Uptown Waterloo Jazz Festival and Jacksoul

• Voiced various spots and public service announcements for key clients

• Supported main client ‘Strub’s Pickles’ by performing as their 7 foot mascot STRUBBY the Pickle at various parades and other events

• Operated occasional live broadcasts as well as live remotes

Radio Waterloo 100.3FM (CKMS FM)

March 2005 – August 2005

Responsibilities included:

• Prepared and hosted a weekly radio program

• Responsible for the production of monthly ‘CKMS Pledge Drive’ spots and promos as well as other various station ID’s and promos on a frequent basis

• Communicated with record label representatives for weekly charting

• Performing various administrative duties (answering phones, filing pledge drive entries into the database, sorting mail, etc.)

 

Co-Host/Segment Producer “School Beats”

91.5 The Beat (CKBT FM), Kitchener, Ontario

December 2004 – June 2005             

Responsibilities included:

• Preparing a weekly script

• Recording a weekly segment informing the public of happenings at my high school
